Atticus cuddling on my lap

I took this photo of Atticus while I was at the computer. That's me in my blogger hoodie, and Atticus as he usually is when I sit to type. He jumps in my lap and melts in my arms and purrs. Such a cuddle bunny love!

Yes, they do! Thanks, and I agree about the character, both in literary and feline terms. ;). My female cat is named Scout, btw. She has to sit anywhere that I am, preferably on me as well. However, Atticus has dibs when I'm at the computer.

You know, I have recently been tutoring a high school student who had a project on To Kill a Mockingbird - I forgot what a beautiful story it is; just reading through it for the project, I found myself laughing out loud at some of it, and being so moved too. I made it a point to re-read it after I'm done with my current book.
