White Peacock Anartia jatrophae

White Peacock Anartia jatrophae by key lime pie yumyum.
These have been abundant all around the neigborhood. Glad to see a few stopping by to check out our new garden.

She's probably pretty old--the tattered wings and the fact that she sat still long enough for me to shoot her. LOL. Her younger friends were bouncing around so fast I couldn't keep up--not in 87 degree weather with 110 % humidity.

maybe she is an elder butterfly, but still, this is quite remarkable, the detail is outstanding......plus she's pretty!
