When I was in NY, I passed through Flushing many times on the way to my parents' house. Along the way, I made a habit of stopping by Corner 28 for a quick, cheap bite. They have a window looking out on the street, at which you will probably find a line of hungry folks waiting at any time of day.

Cheung fun

Freshly steamed rice noodle served up with your choice of topping. I got mine with cha siu (roast pork). I can't remember, but I think this was only $1.

Peking duck bun

Roast duck + hoisin sauce + slivers of green onion and cucumber --> mantou bun = Peking duck, Cantonese style.
It's a smallish slice of duck, but at $1 who can complain?
