28: Peace Be With You

Today I had the distinct honor of meeting Archbishop Wilton Gregory. I had been looking forward to it, yet dreading it at the same time, as I had no idea what I would do/say. To kiss his ring or to not kiss his ring? To bow or not to bow?

It turned out to be what was one of the more important and memorable moments of my life so far. He is gracious and magnetic, approachable and kind. It was an honor to have the pleasure of meeting him.

The rosary in the photo was made by my talented husband. He is very skilled, so if you're ever in the market for a beautiful rosary, you know who to call!

And PS - I kissed his ring. How could I not?
