1. I'm spending the week cooking recipes collected on Pinterest--you know, put some of that "time wasted" to good use. Four down, a stack to go.
2. Catering a breakfast tomorrow. It will include cinnamon rolls and no quiche.
3. Kicked off a big, long-term collaborative project that's been in the back of my head for a long time. I'm excited and freaked out by the response.
4. Sometimes I am so overwhelmed by gratefulness that I have no idea how to begin to express it without turning myself inside out.
5. My current idea of heaven involves a late, leisurely Sunday brunch with a big city newspaper, a friend, and comfortable quiet.

1. Scars on hands from bad scratches from hauling wood don't seem as sexy/rugged/lovely (???) under florescent lights in a room full of mirrors and girls with perfect manicures (<--why I avoid these places as a rule).
2. Answering a lot of good questions.
3. Making a baby-sized pin-tucked duvet cover out of an ancient-and-lovelier-still-with-its-sun-bleached-pink-and-rain-stains curtain for a baby-sized duvet I'm making with wool (from our sheep) that my mom washed and I picked and carded. (*breath*)
4. Taking care.
5. A ten-day turning over of the idea that with each addition, change, there's increased potential for loneliness (also, loneliness must be like hunger).
