I can't find any substantial or relevant articles or biographies in Trove or Google for "Daphne Deane", except for a novel. Where did you find her?

  4. Australian National Maritime Museum on The Commons 6 months ago | reply

We found a few Sydney Mail articles through Google but there's also a list on Trove we created. They aren't amazingly detailed articles, but we will do some more searching. You found a novel?

Thanks for the list. The novel - "Daphne Deane" by Grace Livingstone Hill - books.google.com.au/books/about/Daphne_Deane.html?id=g7WL... . Not connected, I think.

oh yes, I did see that book, it doesn't seem connected. Otherwise it would be, 'Daphne Deane pianist/ballet dancer/impresario/romance heroine'. Hehe
