Progress on the red scarf for Matt. I know, it's like 14" wide and that's rather big for a scarf but I didn't think when I started this project. I cast on a number of stitches that looked good to me at the time.

Don't you hate that when your knitting expands after cast-on? That's why they say it's always good to do a swatch, but if you're lazy like me I just try and pull out my cast-on sts to get a sense of what it will look like in a few rows.
Gorgeous color though!
