Agumbe in the rains

Along with Manjula, Venky, Ayan and Lavanya, went in search of the rains. And we weren't disappointed. It rained, and poured and we thoroughly enjoyed the wet climate. Went walking around the village, trekked to a waterfall, admired an old temple and ate lovely malnad cuisine prepared by kasturi akka. we stayed at the dodda mane, a quaint old bungalow where the serial malgudi days was filmed. september 2007.
