Kool & the Gang Concert @ Montreal Jazz Festival

Kool and the Gang concert at Montreal Jazz Festival (Festival International de Jazz de Montréal) @ Metropolis, Montreal on 1 July, 2009 (Canada Day). Stevie Wonder had opened the Jazz Fest 2009 with a performance a day before this concert.

After Cuil made Koul loose his Cool, Koul went to the Kool and the Gang concert to regain his Kool. The show was quiet hot though.

Funk masters Kool and the Gang churned out hit after hit songs, all the way from from the 70s (from John Trivolta's Saturday Night Live) till now.

Although not the first in the waiting line, I was the first person to enter the floors and got the centremost location in the front. Due to the higher average age of listeners, the people in front of me opted for the seats in the balcony instead of the standing floor -> great for me! This was the closest concert I have seen till date, and that's kind of a pressure too because you are supposed to sing the lyrics correctly during the chorus.
