Apart from the entertainment industry, Jacko's dead has been a interesting time to observe the magic of social media and search engine results. Specially the wins and the fails. Tons of sites went down with the huge load of surfers checking out the news. Twitter crashed for a while.

Google thought people were trying to attack it, so it displayed the message for half an hour : "We're sorry, but your query looks similar to automated requests from a computer virus or spyware application"


The searches for the Simpson's episode from 1991 containing the song "Lisa Its Your Birthday" also increased manifolds. Who can forget this classic conversation :
