Muhammad Cartoons |
These are the 12
"controversial" Muhammad
cartoons and drawings that have become a
lightining rod for violence in the
Middle East. Muslims from many countries
are protesting the depiction of
Muhammad, the prophet in Islam, by the
Danish newspaper The Jyllands-Posten.
The images have created a firestorm of
controversy in the Islamic world.
***OP/ED
Although we do admit the images may be
offensive to Muslims in general, we
deplore their acts of violence and lack
of tolerance. As an act of solidarity
and to promote free speech, we will keep
these images posted to keep this out in
the open and uncensored. Shame on the
BBC, CNN, FOX, Al Jazeera, CBS, NBC,
ABC, and even "The CW" and the
rest of the MSM for refusing to show
these images.
*UPDATE: FOX showed the above image
only around 5pm-ish yest.
Historically, Muslims were in the
forefront of architecture, amazing works
of literature, and various artforms
while Europe was still stuck in the
"Dark Ages." My how the world
has changed since then. In fact, its
almost a complete role reversal.
Do Muslims not read the Quran anymore?
What happenned to?:
"Do not let your hatred of a
people incite you to aggression."
(The Quran 5:2)
And do not let ill-will towards any
folk incite you so that you swerve from
dealing justly. Be just; that is nearest
to heedfulness" (The Quran 5:8)
Let there be no compulsion in religion:
Truth stands out clear from Error:
whoever rejects evil and believes in
Allah has grasped the most trustworthy
hand-hold, that never breaks. And Allah
hears and knows all things (The Quran
2:256)
"God commands justice, the doing
of the good, and liberality to kith and
kin. He
forbids all shameful deeds, injustice
and rebellion. Thus does he instruct
you, that you may receive
admonition." (The Quran16:90)
"O mankind! We created you from a
single (pair) of male and female, and
made you
into nations and tribes, that he may
know and cooperate with one
another." (The Quran 49:13)
There are many more like-minded verses.
Muslims, it's time to take
responsibility and truly read the book
and practice its tenets.
