Over 100 separate Boycott P&G Day events took place across the UK on 17th May 2008.
There were also over 100 actions in 30 different countries across the world, including: Ireland, France, Belgium, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Spain, Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Bulgaria, Greece, Rumania, Russia, Nigeria, South Africa, Pakistan, Australia, New Zealand, Canada, USA, Mexico, Guatamala, Venezuela, Peru, Chile, Brazil and Argentina.

Actions included: shop-window displays, leafleting, campaign stalls, imaginative and striking stunts, and protests in town centres, at supermarkets and at P&G sites.

They were all united in their mission to expose the company's cruel and unnecessary animal testing to make cosmetics, cleaning products and even 'pet' foods, and inform the public how to shop cruelty-free. The maker of such well-known brands as Ariel, Daz, Flash, Olay, Fairy, Max Factor, Herbal Essences, Pantene, Iams and Eukanuba (to name just a few) poisons and kills animals in cruel and unnecessary research.
