Sweet sudjukh is a kind of a dessert, that's made the following way:
walnuts are glazed with a syrup made of mulberry and grape juice,
flour, sugar and spices like clove, vanilla and cinnamon. The whole
thing is then hanged to dry for a couple of days, and is then cut to
pieces and is usually served with mixed nuts and dried fruit. It may
not look very appetizing, but it smells incredibly tasty, and is very
Georgians have sudjukh too. And I assume that the syrup ingredients may differ in Armenia and Georgia. I don't know if any other countries have this dessert. I haven't seen it anywhere else. Let me know, if you have!
There is another kind of sudjukh that we have in Armenia, that's totally different from this, and is made of raw meat and spices. But that's a different story...
