Eric and I are going to eat more healthy, but to make that happen, we first have to clean out the bad stuff in the fridge (shhh..... don't question my logic!) Here are the Bacon Cinnamon Rolls before they are cooked. The bacon was cooked until just getting crispy, but still flexible. Then I unrolled the cinnamon rolls and re-rolled them with the bacon inside. I baked the cinnamon rolls according to the package, and then iced with the icing in the package.
They were good. Really good! The bacon really only comes through at the end of each bite, but it adds a nice salty smokey ending to the cinnamon rolls. If I were to make any changes, I think that instead of using these normal "cinnamon rolls", I would try again with Grands. Grands are bigger and I think they would contain more bacon, and they would contain it better. Even though the bacon stuck out of these, it was still very good.
