If this is what a $2000 lens can do, I want one! And not to denigrate your photographic skills one bit... it's a beautiful capture. But the scope of the panorama... Awesome. Happy picture taking with your new baby.

foto_graffiti, thank you! All of my SHG lenses make me feel that I have to try my best just to live up to what they can do! And when I do my best they help make me look like a star! :-)

Oly may utilize a smaller sensor and experience some problems with low-light sensitivity, but the lenses rock, and in my opinion, make up the difference, giving Oly the edge over N and C (but, don't tell anybody).

foto_graffiti, agreed! I read all the threads in the E-System group and I am always amazed about the angst I find there! I find that while both N & C offer lower light capability there is still noise in those type of pic.'s. Perhaps it's a matter of a different 'type' of noise more so than actually less? Whatever the case I rarely ever shot any faster than 200 with my film Oly's and when I did push to 1600 never expected anything but more noise, after all that was why I was pushing the film, to get THAT effect! Thanks again and take care!
