Elena - my mother's maiden name was Arnedo
and her father Pedro came from Spain.
Pedro's family moved to Colombia South
America either in the late 1800's or early
1900's. Pedro met and married my grandmother
whose family also came from Spain. My mother
was born in Colombia and passed away several
years ago in the United States. Pedro's
family were musicians and my mother told me
each of his brother's and sister's played a
different musical instrument but
unfortunately my grandfather Pedro died at a
very young age. Perhaps we are related as
the Arnedo name does not appear to be common.
I hope you can inform me of the background
of the Arnedo's. Thanks you, Ceci
