historical Starbucks

The historic hotel we stayed in had a Starbucks open in it's basement. In the small area we stayed in around the water, there were several coffee shops and only one outdoor bar..... What is the world coming to?

Visit Seattle then you will have a whole new appreciation for a large number of coffee shops. And they aren't all Starbucks either!

It's like the Lewis Black bit about being in Houston and walking out of a Starbucks only to see s Starbucks directly across the street. Good stuff. It's like that for Dunkin' Donuts up here in new England, they're ubiquitous.

@ We should do a swap. Probably one Dunkin' Donuts in the whole state over here and Starbucks every 5 feet. :)

It's a toss-up. I'm a recently recovered addict from D&D's sausage egg and cheese sandwiches. But now it's summertime and I'm a big fan of Starbucks Tao Passion Iced Tea Lemonade. But down with corporate greed, etc. so forth and so on.... ahem...

Seattle is waaaaay more than just SBs. We've got some serious downhome coffee shops all over town.

You pictured this well. I almost thought it was Seattle for a second because the first Starbucks here is considered an historical site, I think. LOL
