John. [317/365]

John. [317/365]

On February the 16th I shot my friend John. Turns out I didn't get around to editing them until this week. When I shot these on the 16th I was hoping I'd be able to get them done that week, unfortunately I got slammed with homework and had to spend my time doing that. But now since I have a bit of time to edit that's what I've been doing. This is clearly, a simple headshot. I had a lot of fun shooting with John. We did some nude studies as well, which I will be posting in a few days. Not all of them, just a few.
Let me know what you think! :)

Struggling part two. [315/365]

Struggling part two. [315/365]

A while ago I backtracked through photos in my hard drive and decided to edit a few. This is my favourite. It's from a shoot I did with my roommate Jessica during first year (second semester) of school. It was fun to back track and edit this.
Here is the first shot from way back when.

Let me know what you think :)

One of the creepiest self-portraits I've ever done. Tell me what you think. :) Looks even better if you hit L.

A photo I took of my gorgeous friend Lizz sometime last year, that I only got around to editing last week. One of my favourite photos I've taken honestly. Definitely got some great feedback from my classmates on this shot, everyone else, let me know what you think. :)
Also, yesterday on Flickr I got 7,500 views and my mind is kind of blown. So THANK YOU so much everyone.

To anyone who's reading this in Calgary, I need some models for an upcoming project. It is kind of centred around what I did here. Please message me on Facebook, flickr, or email me at angelabutlerphotography@gmail.com for more details.
Thank you everyone for your continuous support ♥.

what is real. [312/365]

The most interesting part of this for me, is that when printed out the birds fly out of the frame. The top of the photo is a slightly different shade of white, so the birds look like they fly out of picture itself. Too bad it's not reflected like that on the computer screen. Just try to imagine it, I guess. :)
