    Oh i didn't see it was for Holi festival. We saw water pistols full of colored powder in Chennai. My husband was shaking hands with a man on the beach and his hand became pink for 3 days !!!
    (sorry for my bad english...)

    Thanks Dalva - I sortof presumed as it was the day after Holi,,(in Aurangabad.) But they sell the reg. colour like this too for dyeing clothes....we got ambushed in a motorickshaw near Badami and the driver got covered in purple ...his pristine white shirt & face & I had to use my sternest glowering face to stop the children covering us too...also the day after the bus I was travelling in had to hide at a check point ....the villagers were throwing buckets of paint over any vehicle....actually , being a painter, I cant relate to wasting paint!! I enjoyed other holy festivities more...PS your English is terrific! and it enables more people to understand....one day maybe we'll speak French together!
