My love and I

This year, my husband was home for Christmas. Not in Iraq or Afghanistan! We enjoyed all the little details of him being here: Reading the Christmas story to us on Christmas Eve, helping put up decorations and lights outside, going to see Christmas lights on other homes...it was something I will never take for granted!

The love of a father and soldier

This is my husband saying goodbye to our three daughters at the deployment ceremony. I think it shows the understanding of the sacrifice he is making for our country!

My soldier

So it has been a while since I have uploaded....things are moving a changing in these parts...my husband joined the Army and is now a Black Hawk Mechanic. We were stationed her in Kansas as our first duty station and right away found out he will be deployed in March sometime...
