Defending the family

We stopped momentarily on the footpath to observe the greylag goose chicks. The adults were not at all happy and made this very clear. We snapped a couple of shots and got out of their way.

Deer

Not a very good photo in that my compact at x15 optical zoom was struggling with this but it has an arty quality I think. It was great to see a wild deer on our walk, though the farmer may not think so as it was chomping its way through his crop!
