Unacceptable, and a slimy revenue grab. Cancelling my Earthlink service right now and reverting to Time-Warner cable.

I was a subscriber for eight years, by the way. To say I am a little pissed is an understatement.

I'm and Earthlink user and I switched to using OpenDNS.com a long time ago. It only makes sense to use a DNS provider which is distinct from your Network Provider, to avoid conflicts of interest such as this.

I hate this too and have been cursing my Earthlink service for a month now, glad to see i'm not alone.

Macs are able to complete web addresses easily; typing "apple" in a browser before this or at my office would get me to apple.com, here it gets me to your ad server.

if it was really there to help, why have friggin ads on it? If it's party of EL features, then it should be ad free. Cause after all we are paying for the degrade in internet service.

Is there any benefit to remain an Earthlink customer (after being with you for four+ years). I don't use any of your services like email, maybe TWC is indeed better.
