I wonder how much GDP the world has lost due to Andy not finishing this app?

I'm sure this app will come out bundled with Duke Nukem Forever and GNU Hurd stable. It's so sad, really — it was better than everything else, but you missed one essential feature: shipping.
Real artists ship. You even fail to communicate. Your blog's last post was 12 months ago. One frigging year. My best guess is you have fallen off the edge of the world. So I'm using Things now, I never liked it particularly, but of all the GTD apps I think it's number two next to, yes The Hit List. What a shame.

Hey, you know what? It looks like Duke Nukem Forever will actually ship.
My initial fear was that something bad happened to Andy but the THL app on the Mac keeps updating, the one and only new "feature" being: pushing the beta expiry day forward by a couple of months. So there must be somebody behind the Potion Factory who has access to the codebase of THL...
I'm still sad to see it abandoned like this.

Here's hoping?... I am concerned about Mac app support at this point much less an iphone client. :( Really is the best and I will keep using it until I know otherwise I suppose. OF is overwhelming, Things awful for keyboarders.

Recent news, as in, today, mentions that The Hit List is coming to the Mac App Store. iPhone app is coming up too.
WITH CLOUD SYNC.
WITH… CLOUD… SYNC.

I wouldn't buy it. Based on the developer's track record ... he obviously won't provide updates. There's a reason he has closed comments on his blog .....

I need you guys end with this BS! THL is good just in my Mac, I need it in my life! Today I will look for other options until you guys take this stuff seriously and offer us a great solution. I paid for your software and I get just a 15% of a great product. Things is copy cat all you are doing and taking advantages from it! Bring me my app damn it!

great, great, great! can't wait to finally use THL on my iphone/ipad. *thumbs up*

i wouldn't buy even if best app ever ... 2 years too late. I assume it will be OK and then never get another update. Worst support of a good piece of software I have ever seen.

Blog post on January 7 after a pause of 2 years. No wonder that it's March 28 and still no news.

Unless there's a wifi option, it seems you'll have to pay to sync to your iPhone.
I'm still not convinced though. Not sure I can trust this guy to actually deliver (on anything). Even if he does get something out. How frequent will updates/big-fixes be? Found this post which sums up my feelings quite well ctrloptcmd.com/archives/1263/the-hit-list-forever/
