Point Reyes, California Another HDR composite of McClures Beach, this time taken while perched gracefully atop of some rocks for a bit of foreground interest.

We were tempted onto McClures Beach by our guide book's promises of excellent rock pools, sadly the tide was almost fully in, so we didin't get any rockpooks, though we did get a deserted beach and huge crashing waves. The only otther people on the beach were two guys who looked suspiciously like professional photographers, but intimidated by their superior kit I gave them a wide berth!

10mm, 1/30sec @ f22 ISO 100 - though I used photomatix to make a fusion of thee breacketed exposures, then tweaked the image slightly in Ligthroom.
