This is a 4 photo blend. Not an HDR - there is a difference.
I opened the shutter as far as possible, whacked up the ISO and took a fast shot of the fisherman. Then I wound the camera in to the opposite mode, added an 8ND filter and exposed for the water. Finally I took two more, exposed for the rocks and the sky.
The bit I'm really pleased with is that this was all hand-held.
Well sort of...
I drove an hour to the coast with the dog for a bit of fun, but in my haste I made a rookie error and forgot that little shoe thing that fastens the camera to the tripod. So these pictures are of me holding my camera firmly against the ball head, while the dog leans on me and pants after a long run on the beach.
Good times. Good times.
