Hitching a ride

When I first saw this I had to look out for any camera's as I though it was being record for "last of the summer wine" ; ) of course it wasn't but it gave us all a good giggle.

I bought a jogging baby stroller to carry my backpack & tent up and down the trails during my years of solo camping...passed lots of young hikers who thought it was an awesome idea and said they might try it themselves! Unfortunately many national parks won't allow wheels of any kind on the trails, which prevents alot of older people, or people with back or mobility problems from getting into the outback. Wouldn't it be great if they actually had a network of paved trails in the parks for machines like this? We could all go camping!

Yaxchibonam, we do have some paths in our national parks which are "wheel chair" friendly, but there normaly only low lying walks. There also as I discovered yesterday, building more paths.
