This Brocklesby Memorial Arch near Kirmington in North Lincolnshire. The structure is a memorial to Charles Anderson Worsley, 2nd Earl of Yarborough.

Well here I am tossing 8 pancakes at once with my face in the sand. What better way to spend the evening on pancake day!

Thanks to VikWaters for strobing the pancakes and "the boys" for throwing them at me! Sorry guys for getting you sandy and damp!

Taken in one exposure, no Photoshop or editing, just some careful flash timing (and a few attempts!)

My first attempt at the double exposure lens cap trickery. I don't think it's too bad for a first attempt.

More than double, it is actually four compositions during one continuous exposure, lens capped then refocused between each. Started with a printout of the wire-frame head lit using Cold Cathodes, then composed for the circuit boards, composed again with some close-up fans and a CPU heat sink so I could wave the red and greens lights around behind them and finally wide angle for the Cold Cathode waves and light rod set to colour-strobe.

No Photoshop or editing, image created entirely in camera. Just added watermark.

Headed up to Horkstow Bridge with Jules, and what a cracking location this turned out to be. We'll be having more crazy light shenanigans at this place.

Had a discussion about magnesium just before this shot, specifically how much it would hurt if it went in your eyes while burning. Starting spinning the orb in the wind and all I could think was "don't get mag in your eyes!!!!" as the sparks flew towards me. Not a bad effort considering I had my eyes shut tight!

Grabbed a 40 minute star trail of one end of the bridge while we threw lights around at the other. Lovely clear sky all night, headed off star trailing other locations later on, until that bloody sun came along to spoil my fun.
