whisper - being worn

These photos document the Whisper wearable wristband-mounted FM synthesizer. The circuit is based around an Attiny45 AVR chip that is programmed to read analog voltages from 3 pins and use these as parameters in a simple FM synthesis routine. Sound is output through one of the small speakers I bought for the Whispering Islands project. All of the electronic connections are made using conductive thread purchased from Sparkfun.com. The controls consist of 2 pressure sensitive fabric pads underneath the sky-blue patch, and one button-knob (a 100k trimmer pot glued to a brown button). About half-way through making the first prototype, I decided to start over from scratch and rebuild the whole thing in a more organized way. The current version is more or less finished, but I will be working on some little finishing touches like embroidery and some protection for the circuit.
