7/52 Book
"They burned the sinner in the Lord's book,
They burned the sinner in the People's song,
They burned the sinner in the King's name,
They burned the Great Man who saw more than book, song, and name."
I had such a different vision for this, It was going to be a piece on the river, but then I had a hectic weekend with a million and one different complications.
Now, before you alert the cavalry, this is not to be taken in a blasphemous, heretical, or satanic way at all. It's supposed to represent the emphasis on fire and punishment within the Bible. The fire is in a ring because in essence, it's crucibilic- one has to prove oneself by following the scripture, yet none of the pages or scorched because the Word of God is absolute and indestructible. Causing the fire, but never being affected by it.
Or you can argue that the flame is in a wreath or halo, and make a Christ reference about it.
That's the beauty of art, always open to interpretation.

6/52 Bridge
"I found it so curious,
when I closed my eyes,
that I never ended up in the same place,
on one occasion though,
I ended up back in my room,
watching myself with my eyes closed...
...Curious, curious, curious."
I found inspiration from my belief that sleep is actually a bridge between reality and fabrication. Only... I typically believe my dreams are the reality and real life is the fabrication. I did have a conflict in my head whether or not I should upload another image I did with a more literal take on the theme, but I dunno, something about this one resonated with me, although it does feel a bit rushed, and I really want to redo it.

5/52 Memory
I loved flipping through those old photo albums;
I didn't just see the grass, I could smell it.
I didn't just see the birds, I could hear them.
I didn't just see the breeze, I could feel it.
I didn't just see her, I could embrace her.
They... they made me remember."
I've really gotta stop being late, this is the fifth Telidoscope theme, and it's basically inspired by my love and admiration for photo albums. I never really remember anything, yet, when I open a photo album it's like my mind is flooded with hazy memories of whatever there's a photo of. Luckily my best friend Derek is always around me willing to take a picture, so it wasn't too difficult to shoot apart from having to move my entire room around to accommodate for the frame I wanted to use. Well I hope you enjoy!

4/52 Develop
"SARTEK Industries proudly introduces our newest line of Artificial Intelligence products.
Developed by SARTEK using the latest AI software, your PROGman is sure to impress"
FINALLY a picture of me, and I make myself an android, right?
Anyway, I ended up doing two shots in one day to make up for last week, and I really wanted to take the antithesis to the Movie Star entry I did which was very much set in the past, so the only real option was to do this entry in the future. I played around with several different ideas, but I thought to myself, we develop so much technology now, what could they possibly develop in the future? My answer (clearly) was people. Artificial human beings, minds crafted from formulas and script, flesh made from synthetic material, senses being programmed by three wires each inputting information. Well after such a fantastic idea, I came up with this!

3/52 Movie Star
"You gotta make it big, Sonny Boy;
You gotta make it big and run this town"
My excuses are tiresome, but I'm sorry it's a week late, this has been the most hectic week ever... Anyway, my inspiration for this photo was definitely Film Noire, as I believe that the true movie stars died out, and they were born in the 20's, nowadays all we have are celebrities that can act. I took a lot ideas from The Great Gatsby, the Godfather, and the entire Jazz era.
