    Morgens im Wald am Ochsenkopf im Fichtelgebirge

    Morning in the woods. The Ochsenkopf it the highest mountain in Oberfranken in northern bavaria. The summit is at about 1000 m while this photo was taken in about 750 m height. This story continues here in the Photo Stories group.

      A nice treatment of forest - I think it is sometimes hard to really capture the majesty and scale of such a place, but this is really good.
