16 Things

I was tagged by Matt, and here I am.

I believe I can tell you 16 things about me without showing my true inner self, even if I'm telling very private stuff. Or maybe it's the opposite?


1. I hate to wake up early.

2. My first pet was a duck. I didn't know we had it so one day we'd eat it. The sight of my headless duck in the kitchen changed the way I see things. I was 5 yo.

3. I organise my thoughts better when I write them down on paper.

4. I've released 4 singles in 2 (now) defunct drum'n'bass labels and I've just signed a track to a major underground techno-drum'n'bass label, but I can't tell much because of NDA. I'm thrilled I'm going to have a track on vinyl. I've never told my parents about it.

5. Despite being a technology and music lover I never owned a mp3 player. Also my 7 years old mobile phone just broke and I'm borrowing one from a cousin. I love technology, but I can stop myself from buying stuff if I feel I can live without it. I know I won't stop using it once I start.

6. I love wearing caps, hats, etc.

7. I believe I can shroud my feeling from other people, but once you get to know me, I'm easily readable.

8. I discovered my passion for photography because of my two friends Kimie and Vinicius Padula.

9. I like rainy days.

10. I love traveling. I'll save even more money if I think it might help me visit somewhere new.

11. I work better under pressure and/or at night.

12. I wash my clothes and help to clean the house since I was 9, and I never understood why my friends wouldn't help at home, or feel it's an "un-manly" work. I also participated in the building of at least 3 houses with my dad and his friends and family. He showed me the importance of a man to know how everything works in a house, and how to repair broken things.

13. I love to read. I read about 50 books a year. I've just started to read my 5th book of 2009. Not mentioning graphic novels.

14. I like to think I don't have an unidimensional character, but thinking so makes me feel vain and arrogant, thus qualifying me as someone I wouldn't like to be. I avoided to tell things here that could be qualified as bragging or that would show comparison between me and others.

15. Sometimes I dream of things that will happen in the next day, and then I have these weird deja vu feelings. Yet, I don't believe in the supernatural.

16. As a kid I learnt that I shouldn't fight dirty, as the oponent would fight back dirty too. I've always fought with words.
