Blackberry Leaf, Holding on
Beautiful viral plaques. Each red spot with a black center is where a single virus has infected a single plant cell. The virus replicates, infects the surrounding cells causing them to die,and turn red. As the virus replicates more, the centre of the infection turns black with the debris of destroyed cells, and the area of infection, the red area where the cells are dieing, spreads outwards to form a large red spot.

Nice example for a hypersensitive reaction on a leaf. I'm an admin for a group called Life Sciences Teaching Resource, and we'd love to have this added to the group!
