We planted this Angelica plant in our garden
last year, not really knowing how big it
would grow, whether it would like its
location, if it would flower etc. This is
generally our approach to gardening - it's
all a bit of an experiment from the point of
almost complete ignorance! Anyway, the
result is that the plant has become treelike
in its proportions. It clearly likes its
place in our back garden and it is absolutely
thriving. Its latest surprise for us is that
it looks like we're going to get flowers.
I've no idea what they're going to look like,
but it's exciting, isn't it?

Reminds me of the plant in Little Shop of
Horrors. Is it related to the confectionary
angelica?
