YIP ~ Day 111

YIP ~ Day 111 by Shooting the Kids.
More antiques.

Along with the fun rotary phone we have sitting on our bookshelf, we also have this antique Underwood typewriter, which was Chris' grandfather's way back in the day. I love the look of it, and since we both love to write, I think it's a pretty cool accessory to keep on display.

OH I miss these. I love the feel of them under my fingers and they have their own smell. Very cool!

Oh I know! It's amazing how hard you have to press the keys to make it type. I'm just so used to my super-sensitive laptop keyboard. We're so spoiled now, eh?

Very cool shot! I love my old underwood typewriter but I still haven't found the "undo" key...

Ha - yes, Jim. I totally agree! I just don't type that accurately to use it! Thanks for the fave. :)

When my parents gave the typewriter to me (office-warming gift) me and my friends sat and created "web-pages" with it, using red type and underlines for "links" and covering the page with ASCII art. We're such nerds.
