Worked on this landscape a bit more today. It's pretty close to being done, I think.

Thinking about California and started this landscape today. I'm about an hour into it and it's still really rough, but I like it so far. Sometimes it feels really good to stop working on the things you've been slogging away at and start something completely different and straightforward. Sorry about the super-shiny paint--it's making the painting look all pixilated!

We made some sugar cookies today, so of course they needed to be red and pink and heart-shaped.

I worked on this a little today--it's one of those pieces that's been sitting around for months, just staring at me, waiting. This shot is a closer look at the ship.

The painting still has a ways to go before it's finished.
