      Great shot, Antonio I love the textures and colors of spring, which seem so "in place" with this fantastic house. This place, believe it or not, has a very "Jersey Shore" feel to it ... in the heart of Brooklyn. Too bad the sky was so washed out yesterday. A nice blue puffy sky would have really looked great as a backdrop to the orange second level of the house.

      What prompted the use of color on the house? I love it.

      Thanks for the comment. Actually, if there was a blue sky, then it would have been sunny out. If it was sunny out, then I would not have gotten the colors of the house to be so saturated and even. Sun tends to create shadows that are too deep and would have made the shot too contrasty.

      Just an FYI, all of my best shots of the Brooklyn Botanic Garden were done on overcast days.
