A genuine maiko doesn't take such a jinrikisha.
The purpose of young woman tourist is to put on maiko's clothes .

Also, a maiko would never have an all-white collar of under-kimono with such long dangly hair accessories, and her obi-age (red cloth tied above her obi) worn so wide. They are also wearing wigs, a very important clue. Also, their clothing patterns do not match the season too closely.
