Sometimes I can get jealous of how autonomous
you are. Of how you live and just do your
thing. I don't know why this comes out now,
but this picture does have that stong MA
feel. MA who reads in the morning in her
favourite jumper wrapped in blankets and then
she takes a photo of it.
I love how you really seem to photograph
your life and the light is always good and
the composition is fine or great. Instead of
being jealous I decide to be inspired. Thank
you.

:) sweet lucy - there are holes in the
elbows of ALL my old 'jumpers'! I'm wrapped
up (in an old piece of polar fleece, by the
way!) because it's cold in my house. I get
up very early so I have time to read or study
or sit, before work. My child is grown and I
have now chosen to live without a partner, so
I do have time finally for me. There are
things I have given up for it. But things I
have gained.
"to everything there is a season"
As for "the light is always good and
the composition is fine or great"
...this is DIGITAL!! We get to DELETE!!! :D
And with tools - to crop, and 'soft-focus'
and create. I just keep my camera with me
all day & take pictures of things I'm
doing, delete about 90% & play with the
rest. There are people in "365" who
are happy posting a snapshot every day. And
there are people who do all kinds of crazy
things. (no names mentioned... :) The fun
of it is - there isn't any "One
Way". What fun to be able to be able to
play with it all...no competition, no
galleries, no fees! ..and meet people all
over and all be inspired by each other. It's
just so cool.
...now if I only had a cone I could REALLY get some good shots..... :)))

Oh, you know, I still love the way you live
your life. I echo everything labspics says.
I also have my camera all day with me and
delete 90% of what I take and use photoshop
extensively. I also have made decisions to
live without certain things. But you have
such an atmosphere of self-assured peace
about you. I wish that for myself. I'm
lucky, very, very lucky...of that I have no
doubt. But I still don't always feel
comfortable in my own "psychic
skin" the way you seem to. Perhaps this
will come with time and it's just my
"season" in life to feel this way.
I hope so. I look forward to that time.

Although many photos are OK without much
fuss, I love "playing" with shots
& creating a better image. I echo some of
the previous sentiments. My husband's always
saying, "everything is a tradeoff".
You have made wise choices for your life, and
it comes through in your work. I love that
some of the younger generations have
discovered your stream & appreciate what
they see & hear!
