Taken with a locally made +4d lens that I've been trying! :)

This littleone was sitting quite still on a shrub & I took several, but I was getting tired & hands were shaking, so this is the only decent shot that I got, others were just blurred!!

no I didn't edit this photo. there were some earthen pots in background(hence brown colour) & since I took this photo on f3.2, it just kept the subject sharp & blurred the background, this thing is called shallow depth of field which is achieved by opening the aperture(the lower the f number, the more the aperture) of the lens. for high depth of field you should have a small aperture(higher f number). hope you get it now. :)

i asked that cuz i thought i read soemwhere in your profile that u use a basic digital camera too so how can u use n change the apperture settings

I used that(Kodak LS753) till June this year. :) You can get shallow DoF in basic digital camera as well, its just that you can't set what aperture you want but setting the camera on the portrait or close-up scene mode will give you more aperture. Night mode should also allow for more aperture. :)
