One of my Favorite Travel Photographs.

Colosseo (originally named ‘Anfiteatrum Flavium’) was built by emperor Vespasiano and inaugurated in 80 A.D. In ancient times it was the place of navy-battles, gladiator-fights and wild animal-hunts. It had a capacity to hold up to 87.000 people.

One of the most appealing sites for photographers.
