Thanks! It is called bokeh, you're right! I took this picture using my cheapest lens - the Canon 50mm f1.8. It doesn't have the best bokeh - the Canon 50mm f1.4 lens ( a much more exensive lens) has a much smoother, cleaner look. But, I didn't want to spend too much on my first fixed length lens.
