Probably the last of the hats . . . for now!

I suppose the hat is a real symbol of Vietnam. They are fantastic things - lightweight and cheap to make, they provide excellent protection from the oppression of the tropical sun, and at the same time protect from the frequent squalls and monsoon rains. You see them everywhere - on street vendors at work or on the most beautifully dressed woman on the way to a wedding.

It is an incredible thing - beautiful, practical and clever.
