Because all CEO's do are play golf all day long. Ignorance is a scary thing.

Such "Free Choice" that even Joseph McCarthy calls it "disturbing and undemocratic".

Well, some CEOs may be worth every penny, but others get highly paid positions on board after board despite repeatedly being responsible for sharp declines in company fortunes. The workers under such CEOs get to go job hunting whilst the CEOs get golden parashoots.

If you look at this poster and think, "that's harsh on CEOs" then you really need to go look up the words "compassion" and "humane" in the dictionary.

*ahem*...."Even Joseph McCarthy calls it.."? Are you referencing Joe McCarthy as someone who is interested in everyone's political freedoms? Wasn't he responsible for a huge number of people being kicked out of the country based on their actual and/or perceived political beliefs?

Also, when did Joe McCarthy comment on this recent piece of legislation, Employee Free Choice Act, if he passed away in 1957?

Just curious what you're referencing...

Everyone should have the ability to come together with their coworkers to improve working conditions and their communities WITHOUT threats and intimidation from their boss. Our families depend on it.

Child labor was eliminated because working people created power amongst themselves to demand it. The 40-hour work week was created because working people had the power to demand it and knew they deserved it. Now, in 2008, how many people are working longer than 40-hours to make ends meet? Where is the power in our society shifting? Why can't EVERYONE support a family on just ONE job instead of 2 or 3?
