Michael Zinnerman wasn’t sure what to expect when he showed up at a Red Cross shelter for help following the tornado that went through his Birmingham area neighborhood. The case of water he received would come in handy for him and friends clearing debris from his yard. However, the tarps he carried away put a smile on his face. They were for an elderly neighbor who suffered major roof damage, a kind gesture from one neighbor to another.
