Snake

Lump from the swallowed creature
Snake by amblin.
Not 100%, but I think this is a Eastern Cottonmouth(Agkistrodon piscivorus piscivorus).
He was in our back yard yesterday evening, having just swallowed something(bird, frog, mouse, etc..). I think if you stretched him out, he would have been over 3 feet. I went inside to confirm what he was for about 3 mins and he was gone!

Looks like a banded water snake. These 2 links give a pretty good description of each:www.flmnh.ufl.edu/natsci/herpetology/fl-guide /Nerodiaffas...
and the mud snake: www.flmnh.ufl.edu/natsci/herpetology/fl-guide /Faranciaaab...
