Jennifer with Golden Gate Bridge

Jennifer with Golden Gate Bridge by Amaze Studios.
Strobist: Two Bare 580exs cross-lighting model. See shadows on ground. You can probably see my light stand on the left.

I was too lazy to clone or crop it out. I didn't want to spend more than 5 minutes on this photo.

I just wish they lit the Golden Gate Bridge Earlier.

Nice crosslighting, and if you had a the bridge all lit up, it would`ve been even nicer, but it`s a perfect photo anyways. Great work

great shot. i agree it would have greatly benefited from the bridge lights being on. the tilt to the shot bothers me a bit, as it leans to the left. you've got too much skill to be lazy. stop it.

Darien, those L lenses do get heavy! I've been really trying to pay attention to those horizons.

The light was falling fast, so I only had a few minutes. Maybe if Canon would copy Nikon's tilt detector! :-)

the easy way i fix in CS2/3 is filter>distorrt>lens correction
click on the straighten tool, which is the 2nd down on top left corner
i choose to make the grid go away, with the little button on the bottom
simply click on a line that should be straight up/down or across and drag across/up and down the line. done.

hope this helps

I learned something new today Darien, thanks! I would use the crop tool before.

Great shot. I see where the 580s are coming from but what's lighting the floor?

It also comes from the 580ex, I used some burning to enhance the effect of the lighting on the floor.

Thanks to everyone for your comments - especially Darien (I fixed the tilt before submitting my high res photo)! This was my first outdoor strobist fashion shoot!
