Day 191: Dandelions
After another long day at work I was scheduled to go to Kathy's and
catch-up... I found myself in serious panic mode as the day was coming
to a close... fearing being there on a tuesday might create even more
drama than already exists (is that even possible!?)
My cell was on it's last leg, and totally died before my shift was
over... so I never saw if I had any messages. But I had called at one point to cover all my bases and assure that I was,
indeed, to go over there... on a blessed Tuesday.
As soon as I got there both Kathy and Maria looked at me in a bit of
shock and a bit of disappointment. Apparently they had called me, to
swing by DQ for one of those WaffleBowl concoctions for each of us.
No need to sway me, I promptly headed back out and down to pick up the coveted ice cream. As I, too, had been itching for one thanks to good televised
advertising.
However, admittedly, on the way down to DQ, I made a pit/PhotoStop for these ginormous dandelions that had called to me on my way there, moments earlier. Something about the simple joy of blowing dandelions seemed necessary... fitting...

Oh man, I used to love blowing these things away in the summer. I felt like I could grab onto one of them and float away, they are so huge!
