my first orb

I've always been pretty fascinated by light painting and have really been wanting to give it a try for a while now.

I recently got an orb tool from lightpaintingtools.com and was super excited to give it a go so I rushed out the door once it got dark enough despite the twenty something degree weather and wind. I originally had a blue gel taped on the end but it fell off on the previous attempt so I just decided to set my camera's white balance to 2800 to get a the blue tint.

I know it's super uneven on the right side and you can sort of see my feet on the bottom but for my first attempt at an orb I'm pretty happy with it. The exposure time ended up being a little over four minutes which made for some star trails which I love.
