Petunia, the first

Petunia was my first sock creature, she was made yesterday afternoon (12/14/08). After admiring Gray's stuart for so long I wanted one for myself! I didn't realize Petunia was going to turn out quite so big, and that's why Harold was created. Anyway, Petunia had an accidental tummy tuck thanks to a misplaced tail hole. With such a long neck she finds herself quite cold, she requested a warm wooly scarf. Which she wears with pride even though it clashes.
She is modeled after the Owlsley pattern in the stupid sock creature book. For the scarf I used wool of the andies held double and US 10.5's cast on 3 sts and knit for about 2 feet and the fringed it.
