- Binder that just pinches the edge of papers inside. Nothing ever falls out, and no holes needed. I have it just so I can put papers in my backpack without them getting messed up.
- Thinkpad AC adapter. I have two. This one stays in my bag, and the other roams around the house where I need it. I kinda want a third one so there will always just be one in the places I sit at the most in the house.
- Good mechanical pencil. Why is it that there's an endless variety of nice pens, but real quality pencils are hard to come by? I've finally figured out that I have to look for drafting pencils in places that sell such things.
- Sharpie. Never know when you'll need one.
- My trusty Canon S70, first good digital camera I've owned, and still my carry-around camera.
- Moleskine, with completely unlined pages. I thought it would be good to have a bound notebook, but I never got into the habit of using it. At home I tend to use scratch paper when I need it, and at work I use a pad of nice graph paper for notes.
- iPod Shuffle 1GB. When I got it, it wasn't a bad deal for a 1GB flash drive, and it just happened to play MP3s, too. I still use it mostly as a drive, but occasionally copy on a podcast to listen to in the car.
- Receiver for the mouse.
- Programmer stick from an MSP430 devkit. Not sure why I have this in my backpack.
- RSA SecurID. Left in here from my last summer internship.
- Logitech MX Revolution mouse. I got this when I was taking a Maya class in school, and really needed the middle mouse button. I do just fine with a touchpad for other stuff, and haven't done any PC gaming for a while.. so it hasn't seen much use lately.
- Canon battery charger. Doesn't work for my 40D's battery, though. :/
- Etymotic 6i earphones. Great sound quality, and lots of noise blocking.
- Work badge.
- Retractable clip thing for the badge.
- An Incase backpack. My Thinkpad didn't fit in my old laptop backpack very well, and I saw this at the local Apple store.
- My S70's bag hooks right onto the strap of my backpack.
- iPod pocket. Since my only iPod is the shuffle over there, I keep my work badge in it.
- Thinkpad T60p
- The moleskine fits nicely in this pocket. I usually keep a few blank CDs and DVDs in sleeves in here, but I appear to be all out.
